What is happening now
Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra is a real-time strategy and MOBA hybrid launched in September 2025, blending Dragon Ball's roster across multiple platforms. The game has maintained active content updates and competitive support through its first year, with the franchise's signature characters continually rotating into the lineup.
As the game approaches its first anniversary, developer plans signal a substantial shift in direction - a system overhaul meant to improve accessibility and balance. Recent additions have included characters like Goku Black, Jiren (Full Power), and Super Gogeta, with the competitive scene staying active through tournament play including the Blast World Championship 2026. The accumulating changes suggest the studio is positioning the title as significantly different from its launch state going forward.
