About
Outward 2 is a challenging action RPG with survival elements focusing on a believable and relatable experience. There is no hand holding, no leveled encounters, no divine gift making you tower over your enemies. Eat your meal, check your map, grab your backpack: a fulfilling adventure awaits.
What is happening now
Outward 2 is an adventure RPG that launched in Early Access on PC in February 2027, available through Steam and Epic Games Store. The original Outward established the series' focus on immersive, grounded fantasy adventuring, and the sequel continues that foundation as it enters its early access phase. With the game now playable to early adopters, developer Nine Dots Studio is gathering feedback from the community during this extended development period before a full release.
