What is happening now

Fresh Start is a simulator-adventure title released in October 2022 across multiple platforms. However, the recent coverage aggregated here predominantly reflects industry news about other games using "fresh start" mechanics and servers, rather than coverage of Fresh Start itself. The most substantive item concerns Soulbound: Online, an overhauled pixel-art MMO relaunching on Steam Early Access after its previous iteration as a browser and blockchain-based title. Beyond that, the coverage largely documents various live-service games introducing fresh-start servers or mechanics - notably RAVEN2's ZERO server launch, which features reduced progression barriers and pay-to-win pressure, along with similar initiatives from Lineage II and RuneScape. The broader pattern reflects an industry trend toward offering players alternative entry points into established games.
