Fountains is a Soulslike action RPG that combines demanding combat mechanics with a top-down perspective inspired by classic Legend of Zelda games. Developer John Pywell and publisher Crunching Koalas launched the title in December 2024 across PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. The game is expanding its platform footprint with a Nintendo Switch version announced for 2026, alongside plans for new DLC. This marks the studio's push to bring the Soulslike experience to Nintendo's handheld audience following its initial multi-platform release.
