What is happening now
PowerWash Simulator 2 launched in October 2025 as a cleaning simulator across multiple platforms. The game has since found considerable momentum through licensed crossover content, beginning with a Star Wars DLC pack that arrived on Switch 2 and allows players to clean iconic vehicles like the Millennium Falcon and droids. The Star Wars expansion has drawn positive reception, with coverage suggesting it's become a highlight for the series. Following the Star Wars pack's success, publisher FuturLab has announced a Barbie-themed DLC crossover slated for late 2026. The licensing strategy appears to be working as a driver for the game's ongoing visibility and player engagement.
