And just like that, Xenoverse 3 is back to being nothing but a good thing.
Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 3 is a 3D action RPG that blends fighting and character progression, arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC at the end of 2027. The game centers on avatar creation and customization, with six playable races including a newly introduced Android option, each with distinct Awoken Skills. A roster exceeding 130 characters draws from across the Dragon Ball franchise.
Recent reveals have focused on the game's customization depth and mechanical refinements. Bandai Namco and Dimps showcased extensive character creation tools and classic anime attack animations in new trailers. A significant gameplay change removes transformation timers, allowing players greater flexibility with power-up mechanics. The developers have also introduced Soul Switch transformations and multiple fighting styles to expand combat variety. With post-launch DLC already in planning stages according to the producer, the game appears positioned to evolve beyond its December release.
