What is happening now
Worlds Collide is a strategy game released in June 2019 for PC. Recent coverage has focused on the Order of the Sinking Star expansion or update, with reviewers noting the game's distinctly human creative direction. Commentary on the release has centered around the work of developer Thekla and its head, J, positioning the title as a counterpoint to concerns about generative AI homogenizing game design. The expansion appears to have resonated with critics seeking strategy experiences with clear artistic intention behind their design.
