Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s Biggest Bug Has Been Fixed
Sparking Zero’s most infamous bug has finally been fixed after nearly two whole years.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is a fighting game that launched across PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series S/X in October 2025. The game has been receiving post-launch support through character DLC packs since release.
The game's biggest content update arrived with the Super Limit-Breaking NEO expansion, a full-scale DLC that departed from the smaller character-focused additions that came before it. The expansion introduced 30 new characters alongside new stages and a fresh solo mode, marking a significant step up in scope. A supporting patch landed ahead of the expansion's release, addressing balance changes and gameplay adjustments - notably including a planned nerf to the game's notoriously difficult AI. The expansion carried a $30 price tag. Among the new roster additions was False Super Saiyan, marking only the second time in Dragon Ball games that this form has been featured.
