What is happening now
Closers is an anime-styled action MMO that originally launched in 2014 and had been running for over a decade before facing shutdown. After the game went dark last June under its original developer, publisher Papaya Play stepped in to revive the title with a new global server and fresh direction. The relaunch brings a new playable character, Mois, alongside updated progression systems and celebration events to mark the reopening. Papaya Play opened global pre-registration for the revived server, allowing players to secure character names ahead of the official launch. The restored version includes new content and exclusive rewards for returning and new players joining the MMO's second life.
