Pitch Black is a Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion within the Mega Evolution series, released in July 2024. The set prominently features Mega Darkrai as its centerpiece, alongside Mega Zeraora, and has become available in Pokémon TCG Live for digital play. Since its official release, Pitch Black has experienced typical TCG supply dynamics - the set faced unexpected retail gaps at some Target locations despite its wider availability, though major online retailers like Amazon have since restocked Elite Trainer Boxes and booster sets. The community has focused on identifying and pursuing the set's chase cards, with collectors and players discussing standout pulls and the most sought-after cards within the expansion.
