Grounded 2 is a survival adventure game set in a miniaturized backyard where players navigate a hazardous landscape populated by oversized insects and environmental threats. The game released on PC in March 2023 and has since expanded to PlayStation 5. The game's biggest update yet, Into the Abyss, launched on August 11 alongside the PS5 release and introduces underwater exploration beneath Skunk Pond. The expansion opens up an entirely new submerged zone accessible via a craftable diving suit, featuring novel armor sets, resources like eelgrass and phantom quartz, and fresh enemies. The update also implements quality-of-life improvements and introduces crossplay functionality, giving players substantial new content to work through as they venture deeper into the park's hidden depths.
