Starsand Island has launched its 1.0 release across digital storefronts on PC, PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series platforms, with the title also available day-one on Game Pass. Physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 are scheduled to follow on November 12, giving players who prefer tangible copies a window to grab them after the digital rollout.
The staggered release approach - prioritizing digital availability while delaying physical retail - remains common in modern publishing, though it creates a brief exclusivity period for those with digital access on these platforms.
- Full 1.0 launch is live digitally across all major current-gen platforms, including Game Pass inclusion on day one.
- Physical PS5 and Switch 2 copies arrive November 12, a few days after the digital premiere.
