Microsoft's translucent green Xbox Wireless Controller, designed to commemorate the company's 25th anniversary, has had its pricing and release window revealed through an early leak ahead of Gamescom 2026. The controller's official announcement hadn't been made public at the time the information surfaced online, suggesting the details emerged through retail channels or supply chain sources rather than through an official reveal.
The leak provides consumers with advance notice of both cost and availability, though specific pricing figures and exact launch dates weren't detailed across available reports at the time of publication.
- Microsoft's 25th-anniversary controller features a translucent green design, a notable aesthetic departure from standard Xbox controllers.
- The leak predates Gamescom 2026, suggesting the company may have had a planned reveal at that event.
- Retail information surfaced before any official Microsoft announcement, typical behavior for high-profile accessory launches.
