Forza Horizon 6's PlayStation 5 debut has slipped from 2026 to 2027, according to reporting later confirmed by Sony. The delay comes roughly a month after Microsoft had publicly stated the port remained on schedule for next year, making the reversal a notable shift in plans. Alongside the PS5 launch, the game's first paid expansion will arrive across all platforms at the same time.
- Forza Horizon 6 PS5 pushed back one year to 2027, contradicting Microsoft's previous 2026 timeline.
- First paid DLC launches simultaneously across all versions when the PS5 edition arrives.
- Sony's confirmation suggests the delay is official, not speculation.
PlayStation players waiting for Forza's open-world racing now face an extra year's wait, while the expansion delay affects the entire playerbase's content roadmap.
