What is happening now
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a medieval role-playing game set in 15th-century Bohemia, emphasizing immersive simulation and historical authenticity over fantasy conventions. Originally released in 2018 across PC and consoles, the game has maintained an active presence in discussions around graphics technology and artistic direction. Recent coverage has focused on the sequel's use of DLSS 5 upscaling technology. The creative director addressed concerns from some players about the visual quality of the feature, defending the implementation as aligned with the game's original artistic vision and rejecting characterizations of the technology as compromising the work's integrity.
