About
The Mario Game is a web-based platformer released in March 2023. However, recent coverage has focused on broader Nintendo history rather than this title specifically, discussing Shigeru Miyamoto's reflections on past 3D Mario projects and their critical reception. The conversation centers on Super Mario Sunshine's standing as the lowest-rated 3D Mario entry on Metacritic, with Miyamoto expressing regrets about the game's development. While this reflects on Nintendo's platformer legacy, there's limited information about what distinguishes this particular web release or its current player reception.
