What is happening now

Until Dawn 2 is the first direct sequel to Supermassive Games' 2015 horror adventure, now in development at Firesprite Games exclusively for PlayStation 5. The game launches January 28, 2027. Recent trailers have emphasized the sequel's branching narrative structure, showcasing how player choices shape the story's direction and outcome. The footage highlights a new cast of characters and promises escalated horror alongside the decision-driven gameplay the original established. Pre-orders opened in September, with Dr. Hill-themed bonuses available for early adopters, and the game has confirmed story connections to the first Until Dawn. Firesprite's involvement marks a shift in stewardship for the franchise, with the studio bringing its own direction to the survival-horror formula.
