Story

In a world filled with superheroes, Robert Robertson, an ordinary human, pilots a giant robotic suit as Mecha Man, carrying on his father's legacy. When his suit is irreversibly damaged in a battle against his archnemesis and father's killer, Shroud, he's forced into retirement. Soon after, the Superhero Dispatch Network (SDN) makes him an offer: they’ll repair his suit if he agrees to lead and coordinate the Z-Team, a group of former supervillains seeking redemption, as they rush across Los Angeles to save the day. But every mission comes with choices: the kind that define what makes someone a hero, with or without superpowers.

Dispatch is a choice-based adventure game from indie studio AdHoc that blends superhero fiction with workplace comedy. The game emphasizes player decisions that shape its narrative across multiple endings, romance options, and character outcomes, arriving on PlayStation 5 and PC in October 2025. Since launch, Dispatch has expanded its platform presence significantly, arriving on Xbox Series X/S in July with Play Anywhere support. The studio has also rolled out language localization updates across all platforms. Coverage has focused on guiding players through the game's branching choices and achievement hunting, while the game has drawn attention as a potential award contender, with the team behind it recognized for previous narrative-driven projects.
