What is happening now
War of the Immortals is a PC RPG that launched in 2012. The game has largely faded from active coverage, but recent internet archaeology by a League of Legends content creator uncovered historical material from its original investor pitch, when the project was titled Onslaught: War of the Immortals. The unearthed documents reveal significant differences from the final release - the early concept was structured around 6v6 gameplay and featured a narrative centered on an antichrist-like figure, alongside character designs that differed notably from what shipped, including a bearded version of the champion Sion.
