The Mandalorian 2021

About

The Mandalorian is a web-based platformer released in January 2021 featuring the titular bounty hunter and his companion Grogu. The recent coverage surrounding the game largely reflects developments with a live-action film of the same name, which underperformed theatrically with $345 million worldwide before heading to Disney+ on September 2. Physical media releases including 4K steelbooks and standard editions became available for preorder ahead of an August 25 launch date. While Disney acknowledged the film didn't meet box office expectations, the company has suggested merchandise sales partially offset theatrical disappointment. An upcoming Lego Star Wars special centered on the character has also been announced for the streaming platform.
