About
Resident Evil 2 Remake is a third-person shooter survival horror experience that arrived on PC in late 2019, placing players back in Raccoon City's police precinct during a zombie outbreak. The game has since become the franchise's commercial anchor; recent data shows it has overtaken Resident Evil 5 as the series' best-performing entry, helping the broader Resident Evil franchise claim the top spot among Japanese game series not published by Nintendo. The remake's sustained sales performance underscores the enduring appeal of its atmospheric design and tightly constructed campaign.
