Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter 2026

About

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is a JRPG remake arriving September 17, 2026 across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC, continuing Estelle and Joshua Bright's story from the original. The game expands on its predecessor with new character introductions, fishing mechanics, and a Viewer Mode for franchise newcomers catching up on the series' notorious cliffhangers - which the developer has acknowledged as particularly ambitious this time around. Leading up to launch, Falcom has shared over an hour of prologue gameplay footage and multiple trailers showcasing the game's cinematic presentation and battle sequences. Recent announcements detailed expanded character rosters alongside promotional materials featuring the game's leads. A notable scheduling adjustment pushed the physical Switch release in Europe and Australia to September 29, though other regions and platforms maintain the original date.
