Duskfade 2026

About

Duskfade is a 3D action platformer from developer Weird Beluga and publisher Fireshine Games, blending fast-paced combat with classic platforming mechanics. The game launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC in August 2026, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version following shortly after. The release generated solid interest, with pre-orders opening ahead of the August 13 launch and early reviews emphasizing the title's nostalgic appeal and charm. A Switch 2 demo arrived on August 20, following the console version's debut. Coverage highlighted Duskfade as a successful return to AA-era 3D platformers, with the game drawing comparisons to classic entries in the genre. The experience struck reviewers as a capable summer platformer that delivered on its blend of action and exploration, though Switch 2 owners initially received the demo only after the game's wider availability.
