Honor of Kings (also translated as King of Glory) is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game published by Tencent for iOS and Android. It features adventure mode, random matches and ladder mode, also an e-sport league called KPL.

Story

Set in Primaera, a vibrant fantasy world where ancient Eastern mythology intertwines with magical technology, the lands are shaped by the legacy of the Primeval Gods and the powerful artifacts they left behind. As conflicts rise between powerful factions and legendary kingdoms across the continent, mythical deities, historic heroes, and champions from different cultures emerge. Bound by destiny, these warriors clash in epic battles to harness the ultimate power of ancient cores, protect their factions' ideals, and forge a new era for humanity.

What is happening now

Honor of Kings is a five-role MOBA available on mobile platforms since 2015. The game maintains an active roster of heroes across shifting meta compositions, with recent character additions including Devara, Florentino, Lorion, and Annette. The game has generated attention around its expanded universe, particularly following Gamescom hands-on demonstrations of Honor of Kings: World and Honor of Kings: Ace. These spin-offs have drawn favorable comparisons to Riot's competitive offerings. Meanwhile, the core game's revenue standing fluctuates within the crowded mobile market - it recently ranked seventh in early September revenue charts as Pokémon Go dominated the period. Character tier discussions remain active among the player base as the meta continues to evolve.
