About
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition is a JRPG that has seen multiple iterations since its original announcement for Nintendo's hardware. The game first arrived on Switch in 2019, and has now received a new version for Switch 2 with enhanced visuals. Recent coverage has noted the upgraded presentation, though critics have questioned Square Enix's approach to re-releasing the title across platforms, raising questions about the publisher's upgrade strategy and how it handles ports and definitive editions across generations of hardware.
