What is happening now

Mortal Shell II is a dark fantasy action-RPG that expands on Cold Symmetry's original formula. The sequel has now released across PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series S/X following an early access period in August. The game's launch has generated significant interest, with physical PS5 copies selling out due to pre-order demand. An open beta ahead of release attracted over one million players across console platforms. Reviews have highlighted Mortal Shell II as a substantial improvement over its predecessor, with particular praise for Cold Symmetry's technical optimization and the visual presentation powered by Unreal Engine 5. The Devout Edition was made available through advanced access in the lead-up to the full launch, giving players an early entry point to the dark fantasy world.
